Original Concept

Our board of directors brings extensive experience in establishing and managing FAA-approved Part 147 aircraft maintenance technician schools. These programs prepare students to sit for the FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) exam, a required license for aircraft repair. Many aerospace assembly technician roles, including those in the space industry, now require this certification.

Traditional Part 147 programs focus primarily on general aviation, meaning additional training is often needed for careers in commercial airlines or spaceflight. Our original vision was to address the airline mechanic shortage with a large-scale facility featuring three commercial aircraft, full ground support equipment, 20 classrooms and labs, and housing to support up to 1,000 students across two shifts. This model would not only prepare students for the A&P license but also provide advanced training for the airline industry, with space industry training added as an extension.

Through further research, however, it has become clear that a specialized program tailored to the unique requirements of the space industry may offer even greater value. This would reduce dependency on FAA approval requirements and provide us a means to provide specialize training in specific subjects that only the space industry needs. The purpose of this website is to collaborate with industry vendors and contractors to determine the best path forward.
